Fixed Fee Consultation (FFC)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

In this document "us" and "we" means Ginkgo SIA and "you" means you—the person agreeing to these terms and conditions.

A. What you are buying

  1. For the fixed cost EUR 100.00 (including VAT), you are buying the right to a Fixed Fee Consultation (FFC) with us.

  2. FFC will be provided to you by one of our lawyers or experts, who is a specialist in the specific area of law, tax or immigration.

  3. It will last up to 1 hour.

  4. Once you have paid, your money is not refundable, unless the Cancelation policy rules are met.

  5. Our appointments are held remotely either using Zoom or Google Meet.

B. Benefits of the Fixed Fee Consultation

  1. You will have the right to apply for an appointment for FFC by using our Calendar within available dates and time.

  2. As part of the FFC , the expert will express his or her view as to how the law affects you based on their general knowledge and experience of the area of the law, tax or immigration.You can use the time to explore the legal options available to you, with the lawyer or expert answering your questions and addressing your worries.

  3. It is highly recommended to type in some brief details about your situation upon applying for FFC to get the most of our limited in time meeting.

  4. You will receive expert insight based on our experience and latest practice.

  5. You can use the service to help you decide what further action to take—either on your own or by our assistance.

  6. You will receive practical advice in Latvian, Russian or English language.

  7. We aim to leave you knowing more about where you stand, what you should do next and how to get the best out of the legal system in your specific situation, and how we can help.

C. Limitations of the Fixed Fee Consultation

  1. By applying for a FFC by using the Calendar and selecting the specific date and time it does not guarantee the FFC at selected date and time. The date and time of FFC will be confirmed by us in writing within 48 h by sending a confirmation to an email address that you have provided or an alternative date and time will be offered to you. Alternative date and time will be offered within 2 weeks period from the initially selected date and time.

  2. The advice given by us is limited to what can be achieved in 1 hour.

  3. The service is not the same as instructing a lawyer or expert to spend all the time needed to find out all the relevant facts from you, your documents and any other party and then providing comprehensive and specific advice, which could take several hours.

  4. The advice given is based on the information you provide and questions you ask in the limited time available.

  5. In 1 hour, the lawyer or expert will not have the time to conduct a detailed review of any documents you provide.

  6. If you do not provide the full story or miss out any facts or evidence that goes against you then the lawyer or expert will not be able to take these matters into account when advising you. So, if there is something important or relevant that you think we should know it is important that you tell us.

  7. In 1 hour the lawyer will not have time to undertake any legal research if it is required to give an advice in your specific circumstances.

  8. The advice given during the IFFA is limited to oral advice only. We will not provide you with any written advice within the IFFA.

  9. After the FFC you may decide to instruct us to take on your case, but that is separate from this FFC service. If you would like more advice or your matter is complex you will be provided with a fee range, if that fee range is acceptable then we can book you in for a further consultation for more detailed advice.

D. Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancel anytime up to 48 h prior to your appointment time and receive a full refund within 14 days. In order to cancel, please email us to info@forcetax.eu.

  2. In case no consensus is found on FFC date and time, a full refund will be made within 14 days.
